Character, prop and cinematic keyframe concept design for Wulcan.
This is a magma entity, so I wanted to convey a lot of the organic shapes and noisiness that real magma has.
I sketched the big shapes first in Photoshop, then proceeded to polish it in Zbrush, painter and Blender.
For the keyframes I wanted it to feel eery and powerful and to show some light explorations in his design.
